Hill Street Blues

What can be said that hasn't already been said. First visited this coffeehouse-come Drum and Bass dungeon in '99. Took my girlfriend there and it is now the firm favourite. The graffiti walls layered with thousands of green visitors signatures brings home to you just how good Amsterdam is. The dingey smoke filled rooms, the corner ganja counter selling great Amnesia bud and the old classic Northrn lights. Just add epic musical background of London Electricity and the view in the back just feels right. The water level sits near the windows which bring fresh Dutch air into the smokey green room. Much needed. I could sit here for hours. Of which I do. A sticker reads "I Love Bubble" on the windows. I'm inclined to agree. I do absolutely love bubble. And we love Hill Street Blues.

This is a really chill coffeeshop. I spend a few days here, and the atmosphere in here is just amazing. Old school hiphop playing in the background, graffiti on all the walls, and 2 floors of nice people! The weed was very strong, and their milkshakes is amazing! looking for a good time? Better visit this coffeeshop!
