Barney's Coffeeshop

Barney is always my favourite coffeeshop .It is a very nice place ( specially in the early morning when is not packed of tourist , I loved have breakfast here :)also the staff is very kind! Weed and hash are something special , the new cannnabis cup winner (Liberty haze) is very very good .

My wife & I visited here on NYE to have some of the Cannabis Cup herb/hash winners to ring in '11. The place was packed. Took a while to get to the counter and get service. No place to sit in here and enjoy it so we went to De Dampkring to toke. But still great herb and hash to us. This place is smaller capacity than other coffee shops and I think it's hard to blame the coffee shop if it packed with tourists. Many people visit for a reason. If they don't like they don't return. For us, we like the herb (hope the conspiracy theory has no truth behind it or that will be sad) and the hash and will be back. But I agree satff could be friendlier and help organize a crazy line where people are not served in order. For that no 5/5 leaves.

Went there a few times, it's almost always packed of tourists, and when you get a chance to get to buy something, it's like a factory .... the staff is unkind and specially don't give a crap.

It's all about the cannabis cup, but i'd rather a nice smoke elsewhere.

r u all crazy it used to be the best shop like green house but since the beginning of 2009 there is a conspiracy going on and they have been forced to sell pulluted stuff if u had decent oldschool stuff u would emediately feel the difference or the reason why u started smoking ... the stuff they have to sell now is really bad trust me buy more and after three joints max u dont feel like continuing i remember the days everybody had to hide their stuff coz i would be smoking theirs too because i couldnt get enough ... i think the growers who grow good stuff are persecuted and the ones pulluting it they may be rewarded by continuing their business without beeing stopped so ofcourse all they care about is to stay alive ... you can see that derry usually does this out of passion this is why his shop became famous and now he has to watch how his reputation gets ruined he even looks very desperate and miserable the way he is beeing forced to assure that everthing is like always u can see him laing no passion in his eyes ... he used to glow when speaking about his products now he just wants to sell crap before going broke ... amsterdam is going down because of the pressure by some mysterious pharmacy companies and strange arguments by the us ... the pullution is done on purpose to prohibit cannabis finally coz its dangerous today coz its contaminated BEWARE OF THE CONSPIRACY THEY TRY TO BAN IT WORLD WIDE and the medical weed by bedrocan is the worse its gamma radiated and they dont know anything about the consequences they are testing it on deadly sick people it makes you black rings under your eyes after having one joint never seen anything as destructive before smoking it feels like bad medicinal abusus has nothing to do with a decent high

My wife and I visited this place on a cold December morning in '09. We got the Vanilla Kush and used one of the vaporizors on the table. Our first time operating one. The staff was kind enough to walk us through the use of one. Very, very good herb. After using the vaporizor we smoked a joint and headed out. Music was a little too 30's/40's for me or would have been 5/5.

Decor is brilliant, very trippy, didnt try a volcano but we will next time, sat in here for hours, didnt realise till we left, We bought some vanilla cush a cup prize winner, We sat there tripping out and laughing for hours was amazing, the hot chocolate is to die for!!! Staff very friendly,served us at our table, just did an overall bill for us at the end, was brilliant, will definatly return! The vanilla Kush was incredible! highly reccomend it, not for begginers though!

Barneys hade one of the best smokes in town when we wher ther last year in july. Dr. Grinspoon killde it. Going back in four weeks and cant wait to go back here

A volcano on every table, many Barneys farm strains available (and they are something special), good friendly staff, one of my favourites. Very highly recommended.
